The Eighth ASEM Finance Ministers' Meeting was held in Jeju, Korea 14-17 June 2008.

The meeting discussed the following major topics: global and regional economic situation, lessons learned from economic integration in Europe and consequent implications for Asia, infrastructure finance and microfinance, market-oriented approaches to coping with climate change.
